Hello and welcome. We're outside today in the main quadrangle here, the Sterling quad, in front of the lovely Marquand Chapel of Yale University. And we're on our fourth day of using passages from St. Luke, and only St. Luke. He's the only one who uses these passages in his gospel. And we're using chapter 10 of St. Luke today in various sections, but the the main sections talk about the mission of the 72 who go out to proclaim the gospel without any equipment. And then after that, we get the story of the good Samaritan, which is particular to Luke. And the traveler suddenly finding a wounded man in the road and and giving him care and and and more than that, resources. Um and after that, we go to Mary and Martha in their home who welcome Jesus and give him hospitality.
