hello good morning this morning in morning prayer we've come to the penultimate uh consideration of the way in which St Luke has special things to say to us in his gospel which don't appear anywhere else and we're dealing with those around the crucifixtion we think of how the Lord turned to look at Peter as the crow in St Luke's gospel and also as the crucifixion begins to take place Jesus in three sentences of Last Words gives forgiv foress and welcome to the kingdom of heaven first of all as he's nailed to the cross father forgive them for they know not what they do and then to the penitent Thief today you will be with me in paradise and finally as he breathes his last into your hands oh Lord I commend my spirit a very different atmosphere and the Centurion there saying behold this man was innocent so special things to to St Luke
